It’s that time of year again where we embark on a cycling challenge to raise money for charity. This year our charities will be St Peters Hospice, a local charity who have been providing first class care in Bristol for over 35 years to people suffering with cancer and Clic Sargent, a charity which provides support and care for children with cancer and their families.
As you may already know, we’ve been dealing with cancer and it’s after effects since September 2012 so this years ride will be extra special for all of us. It’s going to be from Oxford to our home in Bristol, a route covering 115 miles and in only 4 days. That’s nearly 30 miles every day! Charli and Gracie will ride behind Dave and I on tag-alongs and Harry will, as usual, ride his own bike. We set out from Oxford on Thursday August 8th.
I will also be running in Race for Life on Sunday July 7th which will be good preparation for the cycle trip. Our girls will be joining me too.
So, please dig deep and do whatever you can to support us and these amazing charities. Thank you so very much. Xxxxx
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity’s behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
